Carbide brush for flexible shaft systems, designed for effective removal of dust, debris, and light mineral deposits inside pipes.

Description

The carbide brush is designed for surface preparation and light cleaning inside pipes. We initially developed it for the spray coating industry, as a preparation brush used to roughen and clean pipe surfaces before applying protective coatings or relining systems.

Over time, it has also proven effective for a range of additional applications, including light scale removal in drain pipes and even chimney cleaning. Its carbide-embedded bristles provide controlled abrasion, making it suitable for delicate materials such as PVC and other fragile pipe systems.

When used after descaling, the brush helps smooth and finish the internal surface by removing remaining dust, debris, or light mineral deposits. It is fully compatible with flexible shaft systems and works seamlessly alongside other pipe cleaning and relining tools.

Perfect for preparing pipes for relining with the Picote Brush Coating system, Lining Cannon or any other relining system that you are using. (Please note that we do not claim to be producing original parts for any of the brands mentioned above).

We also supply a range of brushes for different applications, including pipe cleaning, pipe coating, and centralizing brushes.

  • Brush diameters: 50mm (2"), 75mm (3"), 110mm (4.4" ), 125mm (5"), 170mm (6.8")
  • Shaft compatibility: 8mm (5/16"), 10mm (3/8"), 12mm (1/2")
  • Mounting: Attaches to flexible shaft systems with set screws
