Croco drill head is designed for use with your sewer cleaning chain knocker and flexible shaft to make a powerful tool for removing pipe blockages.
The Croco Drill Head is designed to be used with a flexible shaft and sewer cleaning chain system as a first-stage cutting tool for heavy blockages.
It works by concentrating all hardened cutting elements at the front of the head, allowing it to break through solid obstructions such as compacted debris or heavy root masses. Once a path is created, chain knockers or other finishing tools can complete the cleaning process.
Because all of the hard metal cutting bits are located at the front end of the head, this cutting head is suitable for PVC pipes.
The Croco-style cutting design is less aggressive than an X-tip head, making it effective for controlled penetration while reducing unnecessary abrasion to the pipe structure. It is particularly useful for creating an entry point through dense blockages in PVC and similar pipe materials.
The tool is mounted to the flexible shaft using three set screws and is manufactured from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability.
For more aggressive cutting requirements, the Crown Drill Head is recommended. Please note that this option is suitable for metal and ceramic pipes, but we do not suggest using it in PVC.
Important: Using an imperial Allen key may strip the set screws. We recommend using a metric Allen key instead.
