This double lateral bladder is manufactured from premium silicone, chosen for its very low surface energy (24 dynes/cm). This allows epoxy resin to release cleanly from the surface, reducing sticking issues common with rubber bladders and improving overall installation efficiency.
With a 1mm wall thickness, the bladder remains flexible while maintaining strength and durability. Its seamless welded construction significantly reduces the risk of leakage, ensuring consistent performance under pressure.
Designed for use in pipe relining applications, this bladder supports both hot water curing and steam curing processes, withstanding temperatures up to 80°C (176°F). Each unit is made to order to ensure precision manufacturing and optimal fit.
Please note that silicone bladders are manufactured approximately 10% smaller than their nominal diameter. For example, DN100 refers to the pipe size, while the bladder itself measures 90mm; DN150 corresponds to a 135mm bladder, and so on. When pressurized, the bladder expands to match the pipe diameter.
Please note that silicone bladders may experience approximately 10% shrinkage during use, which is a normal characteristic of the material.
