Clients who enjoy using our Packer Base Set often request additional central support rods to increase the overall length of their packer. This makes it possible to use the same base set with longer silicone bladders for straight CIPP liners.

To make this process easier, we have turned these rods into a standard product offering.

• Each set comes standard with two rods which have a thread on one end and a male/female T slide quick connector on the other.
• The threaded end is screwed into your packer head, and the other is screwed into the “air end”, or “push end” packer head.
• Each section is 50cm (19.68″) long.
• At this point, you could simply slide the male and female fittings together to make your central rod 1000mm (39.37″), OR, you could add additional sections in between.
• This way, you can extend the central rod to whatever length you desire, and this will allow you to manage longer CIPP straight liners.

But that’s not all: these same rods can also be used to push the packer into position, instead of winching it, because the same T-slide fittings are found on the “air end” of the packer base. They are also compatible with the Push Rod Turning Tool, which is useful when navigating 45-degree and 90-degree bladders.

All rods are manufactured from 10mm (3/8″) thick material for strength and stability.
