The Heavy-duty Croco Chain is designed for powerful and controlled cleaning of metal and ceramic pipes. More experienced users have reported using this chain in underground PVC pipes.
It is widely used for removing blockages, scale, tuberculation, and failed liners, making it ideal for both maintenance and pipe preparation work.
Featuring hard metal teeth fused to the cutting edge, the Croco Chain delivers strong cutting performance while remaining slightly less aggressive than an X-tip, making it more suitable for controlled pipe preparation.
The cross-pattern cutting design allows effective removal of deposits while preparing pipe surfaces for relining.
The adjustable design allows the chain to be adapted to different pipe sizes, including stepping down one size by adjusting the connection hubs.
While the Croco Chain will remove scale and tuberculation, it is important to note that it is not as fast as a dedicated circular descaling chain, which is designed specifically for heavy scale removal.
The tool uses centrifugal force to center itself within the pipe, ensuring the entire inner surface of the pipe wall is clean. It is perfect for rust removal, calcium build-up, and tree root removal in sewer pipes, and is also suitable for grinding obstacles in metal, cast iron, concrete, copper, steel, and ceramic pipes.
Important: Using an imperial Allen key may strip the set screws. We recommend using a metric Allen key instead.

For optimal results, we recommend using heavy-duty chains with a heavy-duty shaft, such as 10mm (3/8") or 12mm (1/2").
