Description

The T Slide Connector Pair is a time-saving coupling system designed for professional use in sewer cleaning applications. It allows two flexible shafts to be quickly connected and disconnected, improving efficiency on-site when working with longer pipe runs.

Attach the T slide connector pair with a hydraulic press to crimp them to the shafts. This will enable you to connect and disconnect two shafts quickly.

Please note that we do not recommend soldering the slider fitting to the flexible shaft as this method will affect the strands within the shaft negatively and weaken the connection.

It is important to note that during flexible shaft operation, these tools can reach speeds of up to 3000 revolutions per minute, and T-slide connections are not designed for high-speed use. For this reason, we always prefer a set screw connection rather than a crimped connection. For the most reliable shaft-to-shaft joining, we have designed a dedicated shaft-to-shaft connector.

Additionally, we recommend using the shortest shaft possible and only adding additional sections when necessary. This helps reduce torque loss and lowers the risk of shaft kinking during operation.

We have also created screwable T-slide connectors. If your machine has a T16 connection and you want to use a flexible shaft, this connector provides a strong, reusable solution.
