Many drain cleaning auger coils and drain cleaning snakes have a T20 T-slide fitting on the end of the coil. One of the problems with the sewer cleaning auger coil is that it does not allow the user to clean the entire inner circumference of a pipe.

A number of potential customers wanted to use our chains on their sewer cleaning machine, but since the chains could not fit, we had to turn them away. However, the smart people who design our tools came up with this solution.

The T20 to T16 adapter is designed to bridge the gap between standard T20 T-slide fittings found on many drain cleaning machines and T16 quick-connect systems used with modern chain tools.

We already have a T-16 Quick connect leader which allows users to mount our chains onto the leader, and then quickly swap out one chain for another when they need it.

This adapter enables users to connect their existing T20-equipped rooting machines to a T16 leader, making it possible to use interchangeable chain attachments for more effective and complete pipe cleaning.

It is especially useful for professionals who want to upgrade or expand their tooling system without replacing their current machine setup.

Important note: not all drain cleaning machines or augers use a T20 T-slide fitting. Please check this before ordering.

Insert the T20 female end of the adapter into the T-slide fitting of your drain cleaning machine.
Secure it according to your machine’s locking mechanism.
Attach the T16 leader to the male end of the adapter.
Connect your chain cleaning tool to the leader.
Operate the machine as usual for pipe cleaning.
