Is your drain cleaning chain stuck inside a pipe? The Chain Retrieval Tool is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective solution for retrieving lost chains and small obstructions from drain and sewer lines.
If, for example, the set screws on your chain were not tightened and the chain detached inside the pipe, this tool helps you retrieve it without expensive grabber equipment. It is an inexpensive and practical solution that performs reliably in real-world situations.
The tool attaches to the end of your flexible shaft using set screws. Once secured, simply feed the shaft into the pipe until it reaches the lost chain. Turn your drill slowly, allowing the spiral to hook onto the chain and wind it inward. The process is simple, controlled, and highly effective.
The spiral design is thicker on one side than the other, allowing it to act like a coil spring. This gives it the added advantage of being able to retrieve various obstructions, not only lost chains.
Please note that the flexible shaft is not included is not included with this product.
The tool is safe to use in both PVC and metal/ceramic pipes.
Important: Using an imperial Allen key may strip the set screws. We recommend using a metric Allen key instead.
