Heavy-duty plain chain with Crown drill head for PVC pipes. Designed for root cutting, blockage removal and pipe cleaning.
This chain does not have hard metal bits fused to the cutting edge and features a Crown drill head at the front, allowing you to cut roots or grind up a failed liner inside a pipe. While it is designed primarily for PVC pipes, the Crown drill head may be problematic when passing through a 90-degree bend, so we advise extra caution when working around bends. Built from 4mm (3/16″) thick chain, its added weight delivers powerful cutting performance against roots, tuberculation, scale, and failed liners. We recommend using this chain with 10mm (3/8″) and 12mm (1/2″) shafts.
The chain attaches to a flex shaft with set screws and all models come with three separate stainless steel chains of varying lengths.
It is manufactured from stainless steel to prevent oxidation and is adjustable. You can reduce its size by spreading the hubs further apart, allowing flexible adaptation to different pipe diameters. The chain uses centrifugal force to center itself inside the pipe, ensuring full contact with the inner wall for effective cleaning.
Important: Using an imperial Allen key may strip the set screws. We recommend using a metric Allen key instead.

We recommend using these chains with heavy-duty shafts (10mm [3/8"] and 12mm [1/2"]) as they are significantly more robust than the lightweight chains.
