Nylon pipe cleaning brush for dust removal, light mineral deposit removal, duct cleaning, and pipe coating preparation. Designed to mount directly to the flexible shaft with set screws.

Description

The Pipe Cleaning Brush is a versatile tool suitable for a wide range of pipe maintenance tasks. It is most commonly used to remove dust and light mineral deposits after drain lines have been cleaned with a chain knocker or circular chain.

For pipe relining specialists, this nylon brush is ideal for preparing the inner pipe surface before lining to ensure excess dust is fully removed. It can also be used for pipe coating applications involving thicker viscosity materials, as well as in general duct cleaning.

This brush differs from other brushes in several ways:

  • Compared to the Pipe Coating Brush: this model uses thicker bristles, measuring 0.5–0.8mm (0.019685″–0.0314961″).
  • Compared to the Centralizing Brush: this brush mounts to the shaft with set screws, meaning it rotates with the shaft, while the Centralizing Brush allows free shaft rotation inside its center.
  • Compared to the Carbide Brush: this brush features nylon bristles, which are more flexible than carbide bristles used for more abrasive work.

Because the brush hubs are plastic, we strongly recommend using a Brush Lock or Shaft Lock for additional support. Adding a washer between the brush lock and the hub helps reduce stress on the plastic and keeps the brush securely in place. For a more visual representation, please take a look at this video.
